The Gold Medal Park is located on 11th Avenue and 2nd Street next to the Guthrie. Come downtown and visit the Organic Farmers Market, eat at Spoon River, and play in the park with the kids and dog. Then walk across street to the beautiful BRIDGEWATER and view a condo overlooking the park and river.

The Bridgewater is a pet friendly community. Many of our residents have four-legged friends. There are three off-leash dog parks in downtown for Man’s Best Friend to enjoy. Their owners like it too. Congratulations to the Chef at Restaurant Alma’s located at 600 East Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis. He was just awarded “Best Chef-Midwest” at last weeks James Beard Foundation Awards in New York City. After dining at the award winning restaurant, stop by and take a tour of our lofts at the Bridgewater. Our sales center is on the corner of 11th and Washington.

Sorella Wine and Spirits is kicking off their “One Week Sale” with wine tastings to be held May 13th, 14th and 15th. Thursday from 5:30-7:30, Friday, 4:00-7:00 and Saturday 2:00-7:00. Combine your visit to Sorella’s with a tour of the Bridgewater. We are open Monday through Friday 10:00-6:00 and Weekends 10:00-5:00. We look forward to seeing you.

 10am, Breakfast for Mom!  Join Spoonriver Chef/Mom Heather Hartman, her daughter Fina, and friends, Amy, Zoie and their daughter, Austin, as they whip up some market favorites for Mom (and the whole family).

Open Eye Figure Theater: All Day, Open Eye’s Two Wheel Tour (performed from the back of a tandem bike!) makes a stop at the market.  Catch this whimsical performance for all ages multiple times throughout the day.

Planting Activity: All Day, Join special guest sponsor Blooma yoga and wellness and their staff for kid-friendly planting activities and Gorilla yoga throughout the market. Mill City Museum, 10am – 5pm,
For Kids: Splash in the museum’s water lab, explore the interactive exhibits and nose around in the Bake lab.

See the film, “Minneapolis in 19 Minutes Flat”, a whirlwind tour of our fair city, written by and starring local humorist, playwright and radio personality Kevin Kling.  The show plays every 30 minutes and is included in museum admission.

DAKOTA JAZZ CLUB & RESTAURANT featuring THE HOLMES BROTHERS
